Rolling back the minimum wage for tipped workers would be an unprecedented step backward for Seattle's progressive values. Businesses have had 10 years to prepare for this but want the city council to create a permanent sub-minimum wage at the 11th hour. https://t.co/ZvLFyhHlbT
We know the Homegrown organizing and contract has inspired many, and we hope we continue to inspire more workers to stand up to make the jobs in the industry good jobs. Businesses may come and go, but the worker-led movement for good jobs is here to stay.
