Since appearing on @ABCthedrum last week discussing @ANROWS community attitudes about violence against women, it's troubling to see people writing to say "both sides" are responsible. When men are literally MURDERING women often, there's no "both sides" to this debate.

We need to end the scourge of #familyviolence in our lifetime. Honoured to be able to contribute to the evidence-based, research-driven work @OurWatchAus does to prevent violence against women and their children.

We send condolences to the family & friends of WA woman Sajida Tasneem, allegedly murdered overseas by her father-in-law on June 11. A respected community member, Ms Tasneem leaves behind three children. We must continue to speak out against violence & take action to prevent it.
