@CTVNews That's what happens when you lay off a very large percentage of your workers due to a vaccine mandate, while you're already extremely understaffed, and you force those left to work extreme OT.
@spacecadet2016@Stozin67@CTVNews What did you have to show to prove she didn't need to pay back? Jw as this is more than likely going to be our situation as well
@Stozin67@spacecadet2016@CTVNews They're not two different things though, based on their eligibility criteria...as you can see by the table we completed, we were both eligible.
@vinnie070@FW20062022@CTVNews They stated multiple times in articles that ppl who are applying for EI would be switched to CERB. And based on their eligibility criteria, how else would one know that they shouldn't take it, when it clearly states u are eligible if u've had ur hrs reduced or stopped working.
@FW20062022@CTVNews Exactly. I applied for EI as I was eligible for it for losing my job due to Covid, and automatically received CERB. My partner applied for EI as well, for being laid off due to Covid, also automatically received CERB. Partner got email asking for repayment.
@PFinnegan324@LiseMcGillis@CTVNews Has nothing to do with empathy for others coming from war torn countries. CANADIANS were left with zero income, with no money for food or rent, because of govt rules. You can understand that for some people, that equates to losing everything too.
