@LilDrScareAll@I_am_KenBarlow@asda That's why I always use shop & scan. If the price comes up incorrectly on the scanner, I take a pic of the offer & get it changed at the till. (Never had this problem with prices at other well-known supermarkets.)
@JeremyVineOn5 Hubby gets bonus every Yr if his branch exceeds their targets. (Not John Lewis) They've exceeded targets every yr. Last 2 yrs, they've rec'd 50% of their bonus, 'cos rest of his region didn't meet their targets. All branches are independent of each other. How is that fair π€¬
@Farha0__ I like the middle 2 dresses best, with the 2nd from left, (or left dress of the middle 2), marginally ahead due to the lace detail & clasp standing out more.
BUT your Grandma looks Stunning in all of them β€οΈ
@MartinSLewis I went for equal for several reasons:
1. Will(s) may be written yrs before they die, so needs / fortunes of children may have changed dramatically in that time.
2. Unless parents discuss plans with children, it could be hurtful to be left out.
(I'm female.)
@PhilSledge YES - even though we had a dog, I taught my son to 'ask' if he could pet someone else's dog and explained why he needed to ask permission first.
@JoJoFromJerz I'm from UK & have a genuine question:
Who pays the medical bills whilst this poor woman is kept 'alive' & 'if' the baby survives, who will be responsible for raising / paying for a child, that is likely to have serious health issues?
@Vixie1970 Completely understand - sometimes it's silly little things that can set us off. It just shows how much they meant to us & how much we still miss them π₯°π€π’π₯°
@MilaLovesJoe Yes - and if they don't say "Thank You", in a loud sarcastic voice I say "Oh, you're welcome". (Regardless of age, sex, colour, bank balance, religion, etc.)
Likewise, I always say "Thank You" to bus drivers, retail workers, waiters/waitresses, etc.
@iamtomskinner@GreggsOfficial Owner of my small local PO & General Store lost over Β£800 in meat alone last yr. Her daughter was also assaulted whilst trying to stop a thief. Sadly Police aren't interested, even when the thief stood outside her shop eating the sandwich he'd just stolen!!!
@MartinSLewis Over 50 - Rarely carry a purse, unless I want to fill my car up with petrol at the pump.
I now always carry some cash, (zipped up in my handbag) - ever since the day, Sainsbury's could 'only' accept cash.
@thedogman_918 So very sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful life you gave him & I bet that was the 'best' Β£40 you've ever spent π₯°πππ₯°
@mtjordan59@Tesco Nope - we once had kitchen roll delivered in place of toilet roll - just the same brand. Luckily, we had enough toilet rolls. (Thankfully, it was long before people started stockpiling them during Covid!!)
@woodgnomology What she did is wrong, but sadly, she's not the first to have done this. Barbara Follett (part of Tony Blair's Government), claimed for a 2nd home when she was MP for Stevenage:

@MartinSLewis Booked a few days away in a lovely Cabin in Clapham, Bedford & woke up to snow!!
Son's at home celebrating his 21st with a few friends - they haven't had any snow, even though Great Barford is only 9 miles from here.
