Tonight, I’d like to take a moment to express my deepest love and appreciation for @EASPORTSFC. ❤️
What an unbelievable privilege it is to experience this masterpiece of a football game.
Tonight, @NoirXVPG entered a 64-team tournament starting at 20:00 🇬🇧.
4 hours+ later, we somehow found ourselves in the final. In a tournament lasting 4 hours and 50+ minutes.
Our first ever 11v11 session on FC27, we fought through the entire bracket. We won a penalty shootout against one of the biggest teams in the Pro Clubs scene, survived extra time, won a golden goal, and knocked out another side that has competed at the top level.
But the real opponent tonight?
EA SPORTS FC 27.
Black screens.
Extra-time glitches.
Players randomly not getting into games.
Backing out and restarting about 20 times.
Players rolling around the pitch like they’ve been hit by a sniper.
A football moving around like we’re playing competitive table tennis.
Gameplay so revolutionary that occasionally you begin questioning whether football was ever supposed to involve controlling your player.
Absolute cinema.
After FOUR HOURS+ of fighting through a 64-team tournament, we reached the final and were blessed with the opportunity to lose on golden goal in this beautiful, polished, technically flawless football simulation.
And genuinely, what better way could it end?
Imagine playing incredible football for nearly five hours just to have your entire tournament decided by EA SPORTS FC 27 turning into Wii Sports Resort table tennis for 15 seconds.
Beautiful.
Thank you, EA SPORTS.
Thank you for the black screens.
Thank you for the glitches.
Thank you for making us back out 20 times.
Thank you for the ballerinas rolling across the grass.
Thank you for the amazing player lock on system.
Thank you for inventing football ping pong.
And most importantly, thank you for allowing us to spend nearly five hours reaching a final just to experience the most EA ending humanly possible.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
Actually, I would.
The entire game.
Much love!❤️
For years, the Clubs community has endured EA's lack of interest in the mode, but that has never stopped it from growing.
Organized leagues, daily tournaments, and live events driven by a passionate community continued to inspire players to keep grinding the mode day after day.
We have never asked for much from EA. We simply ask for a game that works.
For more than a month, friendlies in Europe have been affected by severe ping issues. When teams include players from different regions connected to different servers, everyone is forced onto 100ms latency, making matches virtually unplayable.
EA is aware of the issue. We have provided detailed reports multiple times, including Gaming IDs, player locations, match timestamps, and other relevant information. Yet, the problem remains unresolved.
Why can't EA bring FC Pro tools to Clubs, allowing team captains to choose the server from which invitations are sent? What is preventing that? It would make organizing competitive matches significantly easier and fix the problem.
On top of that, Clubs would benefit from additional match settings, such as:
- Choosing the minute from which a match starts
- Enabling or disabling extra time and penalties
- Selecting one-leg or two-leg formats
- Other tournament-friendly customization options
It's time, @EASFCDirect , to listen to one of your most loyal communities.
