Instead of sitting here & hoping for the market to bounce back, founders should be exploring ways to bring speculative attention back to NFT's.

Welp, time to hold myself accountable.

The founder, @Ty0xide, rugged his project @heyshellmates. He’s gone MIA and is actively selling off his assets onchain.

I’m beyond disappointed that I put my reputation on the line supporting what I thought was a good collection with a decent founder. I had personal chats with him and wanted to support the community. A lot of Riders and members from other projects I’m part of were buying too.

Just bad judgement on my end across the board, and I’m not going to coward out and delete the post.

A lot of people pointed out red flags, and I saw them too, but I genuinely thought they could be worked through and that the ship would get turned around post-mint.

Boy was I wrong. Never again.

I’m done supporting projects moving forward unless I know for a fact the team is fully doxxed, with real names attached and people who can actually be held accountable if they decide to run off with people’s money.

I’m sorry to anyone I misled by posting about this. That’s on me entirely. I’m just glad this project never made it to an expensive floor.

Anyway, I’m holding myself accountable here and I apologize.
