Though @LtL_News and our amazing partners run the campaign behind the scenes, #OutdoorClassroomDay is nothing without the incredible educators that choose to take children outdoors in support of this important cause 💚 Thank you for this year and all the years to come!
For #OutdoorClassroomDay, P4 took inspiration from all the work they have completed during their @OVOEnergy#Biodiversity project this term @childrens_wood. They used different materials and large loose parts to create habitats for native Scottish animals. We had a badgers sett, a fox den, a shelter for red squirrels and a nest for birds. They even had a barn for Highland cattle. @OutdoorClassUKI

Brilliant to welcome @crookstoncastle primary to the Castle today for #OutdoorClassroomDay
They got a hands-on history lesson, joining in the work of finding and recording the Castle's masons' marks.
We've grown quite a lot over the years! If you're taking part today, you're one of thousands of schools and education settings around the world taking learning and play outdoors — and we're grateful to every single one of you! 😊
When was your first #OutdoorClassroomDay?
@OutdoorClassUKI day off to a great start today! We agreed to our outdoor learning classroom before learning a little bit about climate change. Next we went outside to find our quiz questions using grid references to find the questions on the map! We used teamwork to help us!💚
#OutdoorClassroomDay started with a single teacher — and look at us now! Even the tiniest actions can have a huge impact, which is why it's so important to get children and young people outdoors 🌿 Learn more about our humble beginnings on our website!
