Version 5.12.0
- A complete overhaul of the moderation system! Trying to address a lot of the issues people have been having with it, sorry for the slow responses on those, I wanted to prioritise fixing the underlying problems.
- Destination preserved during login, email change, cookie consent, search flows. You now end up on the page you expected before you had the other thing pop up!
- Bug bounty program ended.
- Added some expanded pages by genre to group stories.
- Automatically create good titles for your chats, titles and descriptions for your chapters.
- Improvements to accessibility features and a few other bug fixes.
Version 5.11.0
- Major improvements to the illustrations -- default style adjustment, as well as more creative prompts that change if you regenerate the same scene, and better character consistency between canon images.
...We can compare public, leaked, passwords against the accounts securely the same way we do when you log in. If a publicly known password matches your account, we will now force you to change your password on next login.
The notes that are used are the most recent, non-empty notes on this chat (since the AI doesnโt write notes every time).
- Bug fixes from yesterdayโs deployment, fixing some javascript issues which caused some buttons not to work.
- A few other bug fixes and minor tidy ups.
Version 5.10.0
- You can now select text on chats and use the AI to rewrite only the selected area.
- Selecting and rewriting partial text now has a UI that works well on mobile. This has been applied to both the chat and the chapter partial rewrites.
- If you have a modal or image open, and swipe back, now the image should close. Previously this would take you back to the previous page.
- The โAI Story Notesโ that are actually being used are now displayed with a teal coloured button.
- Some security tightening, including requiring you to enter your password prior to removing Google Auth access, and related touch ups.
- Touchups to the AI guidelines.
- Touchups to the bug bounty guidelines, noting common non-paid claims.
- Many small bug fixes and fixes.
Version 5.9.1
- Improved AI generation reliability, with faster failing and retry if an issue is detected, improved logging, penalised computer providers who do partial quantization even more than before, and improved the prioritisation system between providers.
- Increased the robustness of story notes - they should appear more often, and leak less often.
- Story-based adventure openings now regenerate when the story is updated.
- Improvements to compute provider routing. One provider was completely removed from our list for quantising the model too much (causing a quality decline), and weโve now added penalties for quantisation automatically, so routing will try to avoid these providers.
Version 5.9.0
- Story Notes! The AI models now write little notes after each turn, covering characters, setting, unresolved threads, and so on. This will hopefully help them stay on track on longer stories, as well as make longer term plans.
- Some bug fixes related to how very long chats get summarised. Previously there was a window where stale summaries could be served while the new one generated, and it was missing failure recovery if the summary regeneration didnโt work. General tidy up here.
