It's not "Islamophobia", that is a misnomer. It is "Jihadaphobia". It's not a fear of the religion, it is a concern about the principle of Jihad embedded or grafted into the religion that is so troubling.
But after the bombings, the rape gangs, terrorist attacks 9/11 and Oct 7th. is it really an irrational fear?
@astro_greek Growing up, we had a concept of ABE, Americans Born Elsewhere. We were taught that America, unlike most of the world was not a "blood and soil" nation. Anyone can be an American, much like anyone can be a Christian. You just have to believe in certain self evident truths.
@shaunvlog_ It is a Raccoon, and it is a wild animal, not a pet. They are very well versed in several types of armament and technology, and can ever repair spaceships if they crash land on alien planets.
@data_republican@GuntherEagleman The weird part is they think they are ACTUALLY the good guys in all this. Vandalism, calls for murder. More like soul-sickness than mental illness in my opinion
@data_republican well, this is all because you actually LIKE this country and foundational ideals. If only the other side did, or at least realized that some things are more important than who resides in the White House
I had someone claiming to be Elon Musk actually do a video call to convince me he was him. Then he spent about 2 hours helping me try to buy bitcoins so i could purchase SpaceX stock, getting me to sign up on like 3 different apps. It was unsuccessful, I am pretty app illiterate.
He did look and sound like Elon Musk, on the video call. I did cancel my credit card right after I figured it out.
