@Hollz2012 That’s interesting. I really feel the idea of a time travelling rival has been missed. Someone who is trying to undo all the interference by Geillis and Claire?
How did Rob escape?
I just finished watching #Outlander 7.13. I’m really loving the Mackenzie story. 👍👏
Anybody have any thoughts about who helped Rob escape?
@Amymatchem Yeh. Spousal abuse is not cool. Buggary would have been LJR’s expected ‘play’. So Jamie was fair to ask that (especially if she previously didn’t allow it?). Previously, Claire protested being smacked (season 1) so this is a bit inconsistent, regardless of the question.
@JLnow2 His story has definitely been well elevated. Right now I have to admit that the side stories - LJR & co, Roger & Bree and Ian & Rachel are more captivating than the main plot.
@mornxngstr I think it’s odd that John felt the need to say this. Good for the story, I guess, but a bit strange. Jamie’s relaxed attitude was a definite sign that he was about to ‘lamp’ him hard.
It's been good to see Liverpool (Canning Street, etc) in the past 2 episodes of #Outlander.
It's easy to get there from Scotland, and the city has a lot to offer, so it's definitely a location worth a visit.

@AcctProfLKid@Yiannis_As I’m not sure hugs would be a good addition. Hugging is not such a big thing outside USA. Plus, I think Claire has a selfish streak - bigamy (twice), digging up the dead, etc. It never crossed my mind that she’d care about LJ’s loss.
Just caught up with Outlander 7.11.
Good episode, but feeling some things were far too convenient - Claire being so easily overlooked as a spy. And how so many officers, etc were happy to attend a party she’d be helping to host. Seems unrealistic, even for those times.🤷🏻♂️
