I was on a plane with no WiFi that was making its final turn to take off when it happened, so I saw the clip as we took off and left cell service coverage and had 90 minutes to wait until I heard or saw anything else.

I feel as though I might have been the only person on the plane who knew what people were going to find out when we landed, on the seemingly reasonable assumption that Trump's wound was minor enough that he'd be okay.

The only other times my heart dropped like that is when mom was killed, when 9/11 happened in boot camp, and when Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
