“$1 Quadrillion” Hallucinations

@CathieDWood: " $TSLA could be the first …$100 Trillion market cap.”

@elonmusk (response): "it isn't impossible.”

@Teslaconomics: “ $SPCX …a $100T company”

@elonmusk: “>$1000T now appears to me to be … possible”

($1 Quadrillion mkt cap!) 🤣

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@Gfilche Yep. $SPCX earnings calls are professional, upbeat and enjoyable.

$TSLA earnings calls are drab & dreary. I could barely understand the one Tesla guy. It's as though everyone there can't wait til it's over.

The difference between the two executive teams is night and day.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

The $SPCX team hosting the Q3 earnings call yesterday is very professional and has a good sense of humour.

In contrast, the $TSLA earnings calls are so extremely drab and dreary. It's as if everyone involved can't wait for it to be over with. "Buy the rumour, sell the news."

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

It's yet another typical dreary, glum $TSLA earnings call. One Tesla guy is very hard to understand. Why are $SPCX conference calls so upbeat while Tesla earnings calls are so grim?

As usual, the stock quickly collapsed -$20.69 from its after-hours high. Stop talking ... 🤣

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

MSM reporter Kara Swisher said that if Democrats regain congressional power, the $SPCX/ $TSLA CEO @elonmusk will be "at the top of that list" for intense government investigations of him and "his companies." She also said if Kamala becomes President, Musk might end up "in jail."

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@bluenorthwood @Gfilche That's why tons of $TSLA investors dumped some or all of their Tesla stock, swapping into $SPCX stock (FOMO, in case merger never occurs).

@elonmusk just said don't assume merger happens. He also said he's not allowed, by law, to have any discussions with the special committees.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@bluenorthwood @Gfilche Even if there ever is a merger offer for $TSLA (debatable), it will be a ~20% premium max. You won't get a 55% premium. $SPCX's committee & advisors will fight hard to get the best possible deal for SpaceX shareholders - they're required to do so.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@Gfilche @elonmusk said don't assume merger.

After negotiations for the 2 huge conglomerates, $SPCX/ $TSLA committee(s) may advise against merger. If offer made, Tesla shareholders may reject. If shareholders approve, may fail regulatory reviews. Dems could delay/block if they gain power

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@wholemars It's surely fun for $SPCX shareholders (which did a 20X over the past 5 years and up almost 10% post-Q3 earnings). For the $TSLA holders, not so much "fun" (down -$2.50 post-Q3 earnings and still far below its 2021 high).

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@baddestonthepnt @davidrivase @BLSmith2112 @SpaceX It's almost the equivalent of merging, say Facebook & Amazon (minus CEO w/material conflicts of interest in both cos.). Actually, it's even more complex than that, given $TSLA factories in China, $SPCX govt contracts, etc.

Complex merger negotiations for two huge conglomerates.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@baddestonthepnt @davidrivase @BLSmith2112 @SpaceX Yes & $SPCX shareholders will be smart to insist on fixed-dollars offer so they solely benefit from SpaceX stock run-up before merger completes. The 2 committees' negotiations may result in mash-up of fixed-shares & fixed-dollars. Extremely complex negotations for 2 conglomerates

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@naruto9tail @Benny44864744 @TeslaBoomerMama @elonmusk Sloooooow cybertaxi rollout is not because @elonmusk sabotaging $TSLA stock (to benefit $SPCX holders) in future merger, it's because Musk alienated half the world (Dems/libs) & fears a couple of serious cybertaxi crashes will result in libs/MSM viciously attacking Tesla (again).

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@naruto9tail @Benny44864744 @TeslaBoomerMama “the robotaxi expansion seems strange.”
—

No it’s not. @elonmusk alienated half the world (Democrats/liberals) with his ongoing involvement in politics/Trump. He knows libs/MSM are waiting to destroy $TSLA at first sign of serious robotaxi crash. Thus, slooooow robotaxi rollout.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@TheSonOfWalkley $SPCX will offer $TSLA standard ~20% premium in conflicted/related-party transaction w/common control (@elonmusk) Some Teslanatics say they'll reject < $600, $800 or even "$1,000 a share" because Tesla "worth $5,000!"🤣

The 2 committees have no clue what SpaceX & Tesla are worth

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@baddestonthepnt @davidrivase @BLSmith2112 @SpaceX You mean unless $SPCX triples while $TSLA stays flat before SpaceX announces offer. Tesla holders will insist on fixed-shares offer to benefit from SpaceX stock skyrocketing soon. SpaceX shareholders will insist on fixed-dollars offer to keep those future gains for themselves.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@nymbusjp $SPCX/ $TSLA CEO @elonmusk alienated half the world (Democrats/liberals) with his political involvement. That’s dumb when selling your products & services to everyone. Thus he cornered Tesla into slooooooow-rolling cybertaxi rollout to limit accidents & avoid liberal attacks.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@kylecordes @TSLAFanMtl “Tesla … will apparently do literally anything … to avoid giving the people what they want, which is a genuine full-size $TSLA EV SUV.”
—

But it did give you a pickup truck that nobody wants and a new Roadster that only 69 people will buy. So there’s that.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@TSLAFanMtl @elonmusk If $SPCX/ $TSLA CEO @elonmusk had instead rapidly ramped cybertaxi rollout & there were just a few serious accidents, he knows Democrats would be firebombing Tesla dealerships, vandalizing Tesla cars & MSM would be running anti-Tesla “Special Reports” 24/7. That’s just reality.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@TSLAFanMtl Like Solar City bailout, only $TSLA is slightly profitable (though it may soon be cash-flow negative).

@elonmusk cornered Tesla by alienating half the world (Democrats/liberals) with his public politics. He’s slow-rolling cybertaxi to minimize accidents & attacks by libs/MSM.

[Bartol Cristof @OutsideChanges]

@TeslaBoomerMama “do you expect …. that there is no merger”
—

@elonmusk said:

* he thinks merger is a good idea
* requires 50% of *all* $TSLA shares in favor of $SPCX merger (a VERY high bar)
* it’s possible no merger agreement ever reached
* don’t assume merger happens

My guess is no merger.

@N8than54 @squawksquare “Shaking out weak hands … before the next move up”
—

@elonmusk’s $TSLA has been shaking out weak hands for 5 years & counting …

One longtime Tesla influencer reports that retail heavily dumped Tesla, with retail ownership collapsing from 42% to just 15%. Institutions own 56%.
