KLITSCHKO: What I cannot forget since 2014 is that Polish people and Poland as a country have always been supportive of Ukraine at different stages.

I know there are certain complications regarding our mutual history, but come on, we are modern nations and neighbors.

We've been very close to each other throughout our history. There've been negative moments, but mostly positive ones.

I just hope that we will clear things up and build our common home, Europe, together, shoulder to shoulder, as we fight against evil in our homeland during this war.
