Last night, OVEC board and management decided to dissolve the organization rather than move forward and negotiate with the union on our contract.
We are thrilled to announce that we have officially filed for an election to recognize our union! We’re organizing with IWW to make our beloved trash palace into a more equitable and sustainable place to work and visit. Come on by and support us during this exciting time!

I'm late but workers at the Delonis Center, also known as the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County, asked for voluntary recognition of their union, Delonis Workers United on the 5th! The bosses said no of course so, those workers filed a petition for an election with the NLRB!
