A woman lost her job of 33 years for standing on her faith — and a jury just handed her $12.7 million.

Lisa Domski, a Catholic IT specialist, was fired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in January 2022 after the company denied her religious exemption request to their COVID-19 vaccine mandate. She argued the vaccines violated her sincerely held beliefs because they were developed using fetal cells.

She sued in 2023, alleging religious discrimination under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. A federal jury sided with her, awarding $10 million in punitive damages, over $1.3 million in lost future wages, and $1 million in noneconomic damages.

This case set a precedent. When a corporation ignores a written statement of faith, dismisses 33 years of loyalty, and fires someone without even contacting their pastor — that is not policy enforcement. That is religious discrimination.

Scripture has always been clear:

Every believer carries equal dignity
before God and before the law.

No employer has the right to force someone to choose between their livelihood and their conscience 🙏♥️

One week before America celebrates 250 years of independence, @FloridaGOP is hosting a coronation, not a debate.

The “Sunshine Showdown” is being promoted as the premier kickoff of Florida’s 2026 statewide Republican debates, yet grassroots candidates won’t be allowed on stage with establishment-backed candidates.

Voters want debates. Party leadership wants handpicked candidates.

By shutting out grassroots voices, @EvanPower is alienating voters, deepening divisions within the party, and ignoring what many Republicans are demanding: open debates and a fair exchange of ideas.

A party that claims to represent the people shouldn’t be deciding who gets heard before voters have their say.

That didn’t age well. @FloridaGOP has endorsed candidates in Republican primaries, refused to allow statewide candidates to debate, and put the thumb on the scale for establishment favorites.

The Sunshine Showdown has become a disaster for Florida Republicans. Grassroots voters are being sidelined today, but come November they’ll be asked to fall in line and provide support.
