We all had a very special treat this afternoon when an ice cream van came to our playground and we all could have either a 99 cone or an ice lolly. A massive thank you to the #FOOIS who made it all possible!

Recently in our #OverchurchScience lessons we have been measuring the plants we planted to see which have grown the most. We will measure them again next week and let you know!

We did some yoga for our #OverchurchPE session this afternoon, as the outside playgrounds were wet and slippy and the hall was in use. We went on an underwater adventure and explored lots of different yoga poses!

Class 4 have finished making and evaluating our 3D sculpture heads this week. We have all really enjoyed making them in the style of Picasso.

We had a very active time in our #OverchurchPE session today! We pretended that we were competing in the Olympics and did different events, including: hurdles, long jump, throwing and the javelin.

In our #OverchurchPSHE Jigsaw session today, we discussed how girls’ and boys’ bodies are different. We learnt the correct names for the body parts and also talked about how our private body parts are private.

We were so lucky to have a visit from a theatre company this afternoon. We watched a play and all got thoroughly involved!

Class 4 loved this week’s #OverchurchArt lesson. We looked at the portraits of Picasso and William H Jonson. Then, using water colours, we mixed some of the colours that we could see in their paintings.
