Their Executive Director (Mrs. Olga Lindrio) said; "we should build a class of not only male champions for gender quality but also role model men".

Overcomers Women Activists has organized two-day Women conference in Adjumani district from 17th and 18th January, 2025 for the 7th consecutive year.

Over 300 participants were in attendance this year.

All these were aimed at empowering the participants as community role models.

By ensuring they can attend school without the added burden of managing their menstrual health inadequately. The distribution of sanitary pads is a crucial component in promoting education and reducing barriers that lead to early life challenges for these young women.

Overcomers Women Activists together with its partners and stakeholders have taken significant steps to address the issue of menstrual hygiene management by distributing sanitary pads to more than 300 girls in four primary schools focusing on P.6, P.7, Child mothers and PWDs.

This was raised through #THEGIRLCHILDRUN. It aims to mitigate the school dropout rates that are often exacerbated by teenage pregnancies and early marriages. By providing these essential hygiene products, the organization seeks to empower young girls.
