“We love doing project progress videos. They are a great way of clearly communicating, and we get to see some fantastic projects all the way through to the end.”
For new-build, re-work, or heritage conservation projects simple before-and-after photography is a great way of recording milestone events. The moving image – particularly from a drone – can quickly communicate to the project team and wider audience the status or works.
We are available for projects over the festive period. If you are working on a project and need a reliable professional drone company for coverage, or even ground-based photography/video, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

THE NEW NORMAL
During Covid-19 lock-down Overdrones is able to continue to operate using strict safety protocols for the team.
On-location here again at Kings College Cambridge for a roof inspection of the Great Hall, prior to restoration work.
Everybody be safe out there.👍😷
We hope you and your loved ones are all safe and well.
These are testing times for us all. Using crew distancing and operational procedures, Overdrones is still able to consider undertaking *critical* projects for you.
Stay Safe.
#StayHomeSaveLives
Best wishes to all suffering this Winter with the ongoing storms and flooding. Devastating floods have hit many parts of the UK. An aerial view of a situation can greatly enhance understanding and help focus planning and any response. We are here to help. #dronesforgood
PHOTOGRAPHY FOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
Up above at a Bedfordshire Business Park on a lovely sunny Winter’s day for some property and business #marketingphotography. We also did some ground and #interiorphotography. So if you need to market your property or business – give us a call.

HARRIS HAWK. Watching me, watching you, Ah-haa!👀 Whilst doing the survey work at Exeter College we came across this chap with his American Harris Hawk, who was helping to control the pigeons on site. The pigeons at Exeter were quite unafraid of the drone!
MORE OXFORD UNI JOLLY JAPES!
This time the beautiful Exeter College’s Library for a roof drone inspection. We seem to have a run of libraries at the moment. One of Oxford’s most tranquil settings. William Morris went there as did Tolkien, Richard Burton, Alan Bennett.
Radcliffe Science Library Oxford University - While the drone takes a break, the Overdrones Crew have a well-earned recharge of their batteries too! Happy Days!😀
CASTELL COCH - Drone Inspection. Another quick video snippet taken during photographic inspection for CADW of the fantastic Castell Coch, just outside Cardiff in South Wales. Absolutely gorgeous!
Very Alan Ladd (check out "The Black Knight") 😉
Ground Management? What's that? With regard to drone operations, it means more than just getting a broom out! Why should this be deemed best practice for drone operations in the U.K? Pop along to our blog to find out more!
BALHAM HOSPITALITY A big thank you to all at Ascension Church – Balham. Made us feel very welcome! Lots of drinks and food from their superb café! Their team said: “Overdrones were a joy to work with. They were professional, very knowledgeable, conscientious and really nice guys"
Completed a tricky roof & upper window drone inspection at Oxford International College in St. Clements, Oxford. Jonathan Durndell of Milton Keynes Architectural said: “Thank you ever so much for the survey, this is most appreciated and covers all the angles needed, so great job.
ACHILLES – ANOTHER SMALL STEP FORWARD
Overdrones has obtained its registration with Achilles on its UVDB pre-qualification system for the UK’s utility sector.
UVDB is the utility industry pre-qualification system used across the UK.
MARLBOROUGH COLLEGE ROOF SURVEY
Off to historic Marlborough in Wiltshire to do a roof survey of one of the buildings on site at Marlborough College. Need a hot water bottle for crew and drone as it is bloomin’ freezing.
Possible illegal #drone usage near #Gatwick & #Heathrow highlights a need for all in the drone industry to be aware of the issues and consequences of hiring an operator who ignores extra costs necessary for a project. https://t.co/JZma3UnXeM
WET DAY IN SWANSEA
Back to Welsh-Wales. This time former sites of the University of Wales in Swansea are being surveyed so we are doing some basic drone coverage of the upper areas. Sea + mountains = rain… but we are getting results.
