I think 16 is a good age, although I know the frustration of having to wait, feeling imprisoned and chained in your own body, unable to participate in the same activities as your friends like going for a swim in the summer

I'm 30 and I can finally go swimming with my friends in the summer!

But other people want it, and who are you to say they're not allowed to make decisions about their own body, especially when psychologists has talked to them enough to decide that this is what is best for their mental health?
