Congratulations to these two for being selected as our FFA Member of the Month! They both got individual ribbons in the Food Science CDE contest. Siarra recieved purple with a 5th place finish and Dalton received blue with a 10th place! #WeROverton

In 2018, Overton became that 189th Chapter to be chartered in NE. Last year we were recognized as a Silver Merit Chapter being one of the Top 25 chapters in the State!

Animal Science Owl Watch: one of my students discovered an owl outside my window a couple weeks ago and it has a couple of eggs we have been watching. The owl was sitting today during class but we scared it away by accident. #WeROverton

Earlier this week we had members compete at district CDE contests. Our Livestock Management team received 2nd and will represent us at State! Our Food Science team was just one spot away from state. So proud of all of these kids! #WeROverton

It is so fun to see our FFA members succeeding in other areas too! Cinch, Austin, Dominic, and Christian were among the Eagle wrestlers advancing into today's district wrestling matches. Good luck at state Christian and great job to all of the Eagle wrestlers! #WeROverton

It is school board recognition week. Our FFA chapter would like to thank all of our school board members that work so hard to support our program and our entire school. You are a huge part of making our school awesome! Thank you! #WeROverton

Congrats to Abby Lawton for being our member of the Month. Abby was selected because of her outstanding performances at District LDE contests. She placed 3rd in Extemp Speaking and was also a member of our Parl Pro team. Abby serves as the President of our Chapter! #WeROverton

Christian Smith has been selected as our member of the month! He made finals in the Employment Skills LDE contest and placed 3rd overall. His favorite part about FFA is "getting to know new people and have experiences in the ag industry"

Congrats to freshman member Austin Kennicutt for being our member of the month! Austin was a delegate at nationals, our top finisher at land judging, and a ribbon winner at livestock evaluation, among many other accomplishments. Great job Austin! #WeROverton #OvertonFFA
