Teams Present Key Assumptions & Risks at the #ManagementInnovationChallenge 2026!
Teams are presenting the key assumptions and potential risks underlying their products and solutions.
As they present, teams are receiving mentor feedback from mentors to challenge their assumptions, identify key risks, and define what they need to validate during their upcoming market research.
#InnovateWithUs @UMIUganda@ufzepa
Day 3: #ManagementInnovationChallenge 2026!
From building solutions to testing whether they can truly work.
Today, teams will focus on testing the key assumptions and risks behind their solutions as they prepare for upcoming field testing. The session is led by @RobertOkiror5, Investment & Portfolio Management Officer at MIIC.
The teams will explore three critical questions:
◆ Desirability: Do people actually need and want this solution?
◆ Feasibility: Can we realistically build and deliver it?
◆ Viability: Will people pay enough or often enough for the solution to be sustainable?
Teams will also identify where the biggest risks lie and which assumptions need to be tested first.
This step is crucial because a great idea is not enough. Testing assumptions helps teams move beyond guesswork, gather real evidence and refine solutions that are needed, feasible and sustainable.
