14. WeCare256- A foldable dual-purpose hospital bed that accommodates both patient and caretaker, optimizing hospital space.

Transforming agriculture through climate-smart innovation!

@viridigrowth Limited is developing Agro Sap, a biodegradable superabsorbent material that improves soil water retention. Applied during planting, it absorbs and stores rainwater within the root zone, helping maintain soil moisture for longer and reducing water loss, especially in sandy soils.

The team continues to make remarkable milestones:
• Selected among the top 5 pioneers in Cohort IV of the Climate Smart Jobs Program
• Crowned National Champions of the Hult Prize Competition and set to represent Uganda at the international stage in London later this year

Viridi Growth is demonstrating how innovation can address real climate challenges facing farmers.

We held a Training of Trainers (TOT) and onboarding of Business Development Support (BDS) experts who will be working closely with startups in the Startup Hatch 1.0 Program.

• Business Modeling & operations
• Legal & Compliance

This collaboration is designed to equip startups with the knowledge, guidance, and strategic support needed to refine their solutions, strengthen their business foundations, and accelerate growth.

What an incredible journey! The Innovation Sprint Demo Day brought together over 100+ attendees including 16 teams, mentors, partners, and the innovation community to celebrate a massive milestone.

This demo day was the culmination of the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) program. What started as ideas evolved into functional prototypes including AI models, applications, and research specifically designed to address challenges faced by people with speech impairments.
