My heart is completely broken by the sudden and untimely passing of our beloved King, His Majesty Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
I am deeply devastated by this immeasurable loss. My thoughts, love, and prayers go out to the Queen Mother, the Royal Family, and my fellow subjects of the Tooro Kingdom. May his beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. Omukama Atulize. Enkuba Etutire.💔

To all comrades in the struggle and lovers of @HEBobiwine: Every first Sunday of the month, let’s wear a T-shirt bearing his name or image as a symbol of our unity, solidarity, and shared commitment. ✊🏾❤️
This man has really changed the politics of this country, see the kind of chairpersons (LC1) that were voted yesterday, we used to think, an LC1 chairperson was supposed to be NRM and an old person, but yesterday we got a 25yr old winner. Leadership is about service delivery, not age. Thank you His excellence Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu 🙏 @HEBobiwine
Hon. Justine Nameere deserves her flowers.
She is bold, fearless and never comfortable watching things go wrong. Ironically, her leadership style feels more like that of an opposition leader than a minister. She questions, confronts and pushes for accountability with intensity.
Sometimes I joke that if the NRM were ever in opposition, Nameere would probably be one of its strongest performers.🔥
Leadership is not only about where you serve. Sometimes it is about the personality you bring to the role.@JustineNameere
One of the many reasons I left NRM was the whole idea that you're not allowed to think for yourself. I would often make posts criticizing government dysfunction and corruption, and then my inbox would be flooded with messages asking why I’m fighting the government!
If for instance there was a corruption scandal involving some NRM bigwig and the opposition was up in arms against that person, you were expected to defend that person no matter how much loss or damage the person had caused.
Surprisingly, once Gen. Museveni ordered for the investigation of that person or took some action against them, you were expected to immediately shift goalposts and condemn him or her. If you continued defending that person after Museveni had spoken, you would be branded a traitor - ekipinga. Likewise, if you went to public hospitals and talked about the terrible conditions there, you were branded opposition. If Gen. Museveni came out and said the same thing, they would clap hands and nod in approval. So I asked, "What is my head for if I am not expected to make a judgment call on what is wrong or right?"
Sadly, that behavior has persisted up to now or even gotten worse. You all saw how NRM apologists were on these streets defending Anita Among despite all the evidence of grand corruption. But when the system turned on her, they joined the chorus of those condemning her. Seamlessly. Shamelessly!
I shuddered yesterday when I saw the number of apologists defending the shootings in Kisekka market. I'm sure if Museveni issues a statement today condemning that behavior, you will see how they instantly pivot and join in the condemnation. Suddenly, they will be "deeply disgusted" by these unpatriotic actions that harm peace, security, and tourism.
So, what is the purpose of having a brain if you can’t use it to think for yourself and discern what is right or wrong?
Spain didn't win the World Cup in the final. They won it in the years before the final.

@NalwogaZuena@NinyeTabz Nalwoga, what he is addressing is about corruption.
When all Ugandans are paying taxes , the others are using them poorly .
Yes we want transition, but not corruption.
Nothing describes best what Hon. Miria Matembe is going through, than the title of her own book, "The Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Betrayed."
To imagine that she was a member of Uganda's Constitutional Commission and helped draft a Constitution with a Bill of Rights, and that she's now missing or on the run for her expression is beyond disbelief. Wherever you are, Aunt Miria, as you're fondly called, know that Uganda stands with you and that the sun will rise again.
Good morning Beloved 😔
Father God,
Today, we lift up Mama Miria Matembe into Your hands.
Lord, You know exactly where she is, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that Your hand of protection rest upon her. Surround her with Your peace, preserve her life, and bring her safely back to her loved ones.
We also pray for her family. Strengthen them, comfort them, and remind them that You are near even in moments of uncertainty.
Father, we lift up Uganda before You. We ask for Your mercy over our nation. Protect those who speak for justice, give wisdom to our leaders, and let peace prevail throughout the land.
Your Word says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
As a community, let us take a moment today to pray, not only for Mama Miria, but for every family carrying fear, uncertainty, or grief. May the Lord watch over them and may His peace reign over our nation.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
You callously mocked me last year when the @nbstv defamed me by publicizing similarly void charges against me.
The same government apparatus that targeted me has today targeted you.
Tomorrow it could be another dissenter.
If you apologize, I could consider representing you.
