The more time moves forward the more difficult it is to get players to want to play in Canada, especially the smaller markets. The Jets should take an action here that would end this ever happening again. Don’t trade Hellebuyck. Let him sit there and waste the rest of his NHL career. Make an example of him so that no other player ever again tries to hold a small Canadian market team hostage again. You as a player sign a contract. You as a player need to honour that contract.
