Coaches play favorites all the time.
They favor toughness, ability, good attitudes/body language, skill, trust, competitiveness, consistency, and leadership.
When it comes to playing time, coaches favor the players who give the team the best chance to win.
Hey @Jpitt_214 how’s it feel waking up as a national champion today?
So proud of you! Stone cold on the back 9 in the final round and in the playoff.
Shocker Nation is ready for you! 👊🏼🌾
The Assistant Coach of the Week is Lubbock Cooper Special Teams Coordinator Trevor Owens.
The Pirates had a fake punt, a kick return TD, 2 extra point blocks & a huge late field goal on the road as #5 Lubbock Cooper beat #8 Wichita Falls Rider 20-12!
Now that’s special!
Coaching is hard. Coaching is tough. Coaching can get your heart ripped out due to the results. But Coaching matters! It’s not for the meek or timid! Coaching is not for those who are bandwagon or fair weather! Coaching is for those who are real & persevere! Coaching matters!
The biggest compliment a coach can get is for one of his/her ex-players to call them Coach. The heart will swell & chill bumps will go through the body. Ex-players are always special.
If you are one or know of any ASU Alumni who are now coaches, please spread this post. I know there are a ton of coaches all across the state who attended our small university . This page will be used to help Alumni network by sharing THSCA events & job postings. Welcome & #RamEm
