OwlBerto

Lover of FaB and MTG. General Manager at Owl Central Games - a U.S. based online retailer for TCGs 🦉My name’s Alberto. Get it? OWLberto?? (he/him)

@BryanGo I don't often open Spotify and see news that impacts me emotionally. Listening to you and Gerry every week has shaped so much of how I think about TCGs and engage in the industry. But mostly, you're just good people with good values. Thanks for modeling that. You'll be missed <3

@BanishZone is a brand new LGS TCG/tabletop retailer in Central PA and they have a really strong @fabtcg community. They were mega supportive of Owl's and the region's fab community and they're great people. The region should join them for their CC $1K on Sat 06/24! Link below!

I just don't know how I'm supposed to order sealed product with confidence when more members of my community are going to buy from SCG now because they have something I don't.

[OwlBerto @OwlBertoTCG]

I'm really disheartened by the news that Eloquence CFs are SCG exclusive promos. Am I missing something? Is this for realsies?

[OwlBerto @OwlBertoTCG]

Thank fucking god queer eye is back on

[OwlBerto @OwlBertoTCG]

19. Stoner/bro/theater kid? I had no identity and tried real hard to fit in but also hated conforming. Challenging times, but at least I partied. 2007. That was like 100 years ago.

[MERC Tronisbad @tronisbad]

Man, tron at 19 in the year 2011 was someone else

[OwlBerto @OwlBertoTCG]

@tronisbad @RokstarGene @TBDGamesNJ plus @sometimesIscry works there too, so ya know, the best people all around. Thanks for the kind words, Gene <3

[OwlBerto @OwlBertoTCG]

@DroodHT I'm seeing about 15K viewership whenever I tune in. Is that comparable, more, or less than the old PTs?

[OwlBerto @OwlBertoTCG]

I started playing magic almost 4 years ago so I never really saw the heyday of pro tour coverage. This weekend's production is incredible. But I don't know how it compares to the pre-MPL stuff. Notable differences? Better quality? Comparable viewership? Illuminate me!

[Owl Central Games @OwlCentralGames]

Who's ready for our Pauper Challenge this Saturday?

Looks like @Carchump is ready to defend his title!
