First off this format is not something that will be at majors, this is something fun and different and also kicking off the new year.

Second, every team has the exact same opportunity as the other in terms of cards and reloading bullets. It’s a pick your poison kind of game, because at the end of the day TEAMS are the one choosing how many bullets you’d like to reload whether that’s HIGH (double edge sword you make a lot of bullets or you lose a lot of bullets especially with extended mag placed) or you reload a LOW (not very risk and gain little, lose little) but at the end of the day and how the format works YOU need a fair amount of bullets.

Third: all of this first phase really does come down to strategy not only in the match itself. Which being a BO1 is quite literally the ultimate 50/50 scenario for both teams regardless of caliber. Everyone has the exact same opportunity and resources that any of team would or has had if they lose or win matches.

4th: is the system perfect, no, could things be tweaked and adjusted absolutely, but goes back to where I said everyone has the exact same opportunity of how they want to use their bullets and who they want to challenge based off winning or losing. But as for a format as a whole and the cards it truly does create a very fun and different approach than what we’ve seen over the past 10 years.

So stop complaining that your favorite team isn’t having the best result because they aren’t playing into the format properly and using their brain to work with the system rather against it. Literally once we get out of day 5 we’re back into normal formats and BO3’s. Sit back and enjoy the matches and 1v1’s and risking bullets.
