The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced former Temple linebacker Tyler Matakevich is under consideration for induction into the College Football HOF in 2027.

It would make him just the 2nd Temple player to earn a place joining running back Paul Palmer (Class of 2018).

Four Temple football players were picked up as NFL non-drafted free agents over the weekend. Edge rusher Cam’Ron Stewart by the Vikings, long snapper Isaiah Hayse by the Ravens, wide receiver Kajiya Hollawayne by the Chiefs, and quarterback Evan Simon by the Giants.
