@subversivepsych@EDPractitioner Nope - in Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Netherlands, India, South Africa. The PA role in America was introduced post WW2 when there was a huge physician shortage. Not for the purpose to privatise. These roles are developed when resources are limited.
@DunelmUK I was sent the wrong item over a week ago. No one showed up to collect on agreed date. I am still trying to get this wrong item collected and again the collection day has been changed. And questions in emails being ignored. Can you please just collect the item
@timricketts_ Your making a comparison based on inaccurate information. I've practiced as a PA for 3 years and am not paid this. Based on the banding system I won't be considered for that rate for at least another 5 years. Many PAs have been treated badly simply for being a PA
@FPARCP the FPA should be providing alternatives and more resources to prevent these groups charging extortionate fees for questionable advice or 'education' apps. They also shouldn't be sponsoring FPA events
@FPARCP could the FPA look into a framework to guide PAs on appropriate use of social media. There is a lot of inappropriate/petty posts currently circulating. And to not exploit PAs especially students from various 'businesses'.
