Your voice can transform services and laws. 🗣️🎓💡 Organize, educate, and push for youth-friendly, evidence-based SRH policies.
At today’s high-level stakeholders’ panel, Mr Ssemakula (@Educ_SportsUg ) emphasized that the National School Health Comprehensive Policy has been taken back to Parliament for review to strengthen its response to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) challenges affecting learners.
🩺🌍 At UNSHC 2026, Mr. Gilbert highlighted the urgent realities facing Uganda’s youth from unintended pregnancies and HIV infections to stigma, substance abuse, and limited access to youth-friendly SRHR services.

🩺✨ The Chief Guest @kristineblokhus (@UNFPAUganda ) also highlighted a silent reality on many campuses; students avoiding health services because of stigma and fears around confidentiality.
A healthy campus must also be a safe and trusted space for every student 🌍💙
#UNSHC26
🌍🩺 The Chief Guest emphasized that meaningful change in public health cannot happen without young people actively engaging in policy, leadership, and decision-making spaces.
From advocacy to political action, students were challenged to move beyond awareness to real driving.
