We mint Coins to buy land.
We sell future products for your future work.
You gain land ownership as you finish work.
You own land to own future products ๐ณโ๐.
Soon you may:
Buy @earthChange_eC to help us buy land.
Commit "future work" in return for "future production" (sign-to-buy)
Gain land as you work (work-to-own)
Own land to own goods and services (own-for-product)
Build food+soap+cloth+fiber forests (productive-sovereignty)
@fhomoney@TheKinDAO@BlackRock@Nestle@NEARProtocol@CityDAO Another difference is that @TheKinDAO will *necessarily* be using ancient knowledge such as permaculture and ideas from https://t.co/PeukQl9SjA and https://t.co/AErSHKtaH6 to produce all essential goods and services onsite with the strict goal of becoming productively sovereign.
As Jujutsu bends the enemy's own energy, @TheKinDAO will #privatize land and water in a #GNU way to face titans such as @BlackRock and @Nestle in a (gentle) battle to regain our productive sovereignty and reclaim control of our planet through property ownership and contract law.
@fhomoney@TheKinDAO@BlackRock@Nestle@NEARProtocol@CityDAO Yes, and appreciate what they are doing.
For now the differences include:
0. A coin will be sold to buy the land, but does give any access rights.
1. Real land ownership will vest to people who complete Work Contracts.
2. That land will be held to *avoid* paying rent and profit.
@fhomoney@TheKinDAO@BlackRock@Nestle Not completely. We need help...
We are trying to get it put together with Ricardian contracts and have made a little progress with @NEARProtocol at https://t.co/yre3oisBQz
In case you missed it, the main design document is at https://t.co/WR13sz1Uwd
@fhomoney These mega-structures could also group to form the analogous of a 'pack' or 'herd' of organisms.
The point of all of this is to claim we, as individuals, can have a 'voice' at each of these groupings, and in this way become a realistic approach to planet-scale governance.
@fhomoney That level would be a bit like the organs within an organism, such as the heart or liver, which would probably have some specialization, partly because of location.
These groups of groups could then also group to form a mega-structure analogous to a complete organism.
@garysheng@owocki@notscottmoore@gitcoin@GitcoinDAO@dreamdao_ I think part of the answer can be found by asking the painful question: "If it is such a good idea, why is it not already true?".
Why do 'we' choose the opposite of these beautiful visions.
What is it about the current system that keeps us from our true intentions?
@Flynnjamm We are experimenting with distributing tokens (representing IRL land ownership) only to those who complete the physical work required to produce the real goods and services we need to exist as humans, such as growing and building the food and housing we all *must* have.
@r_ross_campbell How about NFTs representing IRL land property ownership *but* the only way to acquire them is by signing Work Contracts to achieve the production of essential goods and services.
@r_ross_campbell A State on estate.
We will build occupier-owned private-cities to finally regain absolute dominion over our data and food and housing and all essential goods and services the current system fails for far too many.
@REtokenDAO@Zoom When you say everyone can "earn" passive income it makes me wonder where that value comes from.
Would this approach work in a small, closed system, such as a village of 100 people?
If not, then why not?
At what scale does it begin to work, and why?
