The family does not seek vengeance. The family seeks justice. These are not the same thing, and the distinction matters. Justice requires truth. Justice requires accountability. Justice requires that the institution responsible for the death of an innocent young man face the full scrutiny of the law, rather than retreat behind a public statement that insults the intelligence of every person who has examined the evidence.

The family therefore formally demands:

i. An immediate, independent, and transparent investigation into the circumstances of the death of Abdulsamad Jamiu, conducted outside the chain of command of the Nigerian Military and with full civilian oversight.

ii. The identification, suspension pending investigation, and subsequent prosecution, where warranted, of the military personnel directly responsible for discharging the weapon that killed Abdulsamad Jamiu.

iii. The retraction of the Nigerian Military’s public statement, which the family has demonstrated to be materially false, and the issuance of a corrected account consistent with the physical evidence and the military’s own prior admissions.

iv. A formal, public apology to the family of Abdulsamad Jamiu.

CLOSING STATEMENT

The Nigerian Military operates under a constitutional mandate to protect Nigerian citizens. On the night of 25th April 2026, that mandate was catastrophically and fatally violated against a 24-year-old Nigerian man who was doing nothing more than sleeping in his own home.

The institution’s response — to construct a false narrative of armed pursuit and exchange of gunfire, in direct contradiction of the physical evidence, witness accounts, and its own on-record admissions — compounds the original harm with an act of institutional dishonesty that the family finds both unconscionable and legally untenable.

The family of Abdulsamad Jamiu will not be silenced. They will not be gaslit. They will pursue every legal, institutional, and civic avenue available to them until the truth of what happened to their son is publicly acknowledged and those responsible are held to full account.

Abdulsamad Jamiu deserves justice. His family deserves truth. Nigeria deserves better.

On the early hours of Saturday 26 of April 2026 by 2am, my best friend A young graduate who just finished school last year and currently serving his country and was meant to pass out just next month was KILLED BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY. @HQNigerianArmy @PoliceNG_CRU @sowore

While at home with his siblings (his parents were away), 3 armed military men forced their way into their house around 2am claiming they were chasing a thief.

They encountered him and he locked his door like anyone would do to protect themselves and his siblings because he was the eldest and he has a duty to protect his siblings. they shot through the door multiple times, A bullet hit his head and another hit his stomach. They killed him in his own home.

It didn’t end there.

They prevented his sister from going to him. They tried to stop her from calling for help and when help finally came, his body was taken away. The soldiers called the local vigilante to come and clean the scene. The scene was cleaned and the house was locked down. No clear answers were given. This happened in Dakwa Abuja, it’s not longer rumors that we aren’t safe, not even in our homes.

This was someone’s son. Someone’s brother. Someone’s friend.

He was kind. He was good. He had a future.

This cannot be swept under the rug.

We are demanding accountability. We are demanding answers. We are demanding justice.

I just tried the @OttoWallet trading Agent via the @virtuals_io ACP Web UI,

here are some key takeaways of my experience with the agent;

➥ You need to find your @Butler_Agent wallet on Virtuals protocol to be able to use the Agent, you can transfer some funds from your connected wallet, I funded it with some USDC.

➥ The Agent run on a minimal fee of just 0.01 USD, making one of the cheapest and fastest ones out there.

➥ The thing I love about is it's different from other Agents, which focus more on number specific prompt..

I tried prompting a swap for an entire token to another one without giving it a specific number, it went through smoothly.

➥ I mistakenly pasted a wallet address instead of the token's XA for a swap, the Agent notices it and refused the transaction even though I was persistent until I made the corrections, which was great..

➥ The Agent creates a Non Custodial wallet on Debank know as "Otto AI safe", to help isolate relevant funds to the Agent's tasks, which is very thoughtful..

➥ I swapped, bridged any token from any cabin with just the ticker or CA seamlessly..

I'd give the Agent an overall rating of 9.0/10 for swift and smooth transaction..

The @IOPn_io swap went live few hours ago, and I decide to give it a try...

Here are the few transactions I carried out;

➠ I swapped 1 OPN to 590 OPNT ( at the time of swap) with 5% slippage tolerance, with the price refreshing every 10s.

➠ wrapped 1.2 OPN to wOPN at the same rate.

➠ swapped 1 OPN to 0.05 tUSDT

➠ swapped 1 OPN to 0.0⁴52 tBNB

I provided liquidity in the OPN/OPNT, tUSDT/WOPN, tBNB/WOPN and OPNT/WOPN pools. I tried creating a new position for tUSDT/tBNB adding liquidity into the pool.

** I noticed there's no indication for your allocation in each of the pool, rather the TVL, volume and fees data are represented..

I'll be waiting for the Yield farming opportunity to stake some LPs and eesrnvWOPN rewards.

Even though I claimed the GENESIS n-BADGE, I haven't gotten the 1.5x point boost..
