I went into Block Game on @LOLLandGame expecting something casual. A few levels in, I realized the real game wasn't happening on the grid.
Here's the setup: you're navigating a grid row by row, each row has between 2 and 5 squares, and somewhere in there is a blocker. You pick your path, hit confirm, watch the countdown, and find out if you're still alive.
Green means you move forward. Red means the run is over and you're starting from scratch.
Simple enough. But here's what actually makes it interesting.
Every time you clear a row, the game pauses and asks you one question: take your points now, or keep pushing toward level 11 where the rewards scale up?
That question sounds easy until you're three levels deep with a solid score sitting there and you have to decide whether to trust one more row.
Before you get in, a few things to sort out first:
You need to be in Premium Mode on https://t.co/gbmg0obyJv. From the lobby, tap the Block Game icon. Tickets are required to play and each run costs 10, with bundles starting at $15 from the store. No NFT needed; the game assigns you a Cubie and you're in.
One thing I'd say going in: don't try to read patterns into the grid. The layouts are randomized, nothing repeats in sequence, and the longer you chase a system the more it costs you. The grid isn't something you figure out. You just manage yourself through it.
Decide your exit number before the run starts. When you hit it, you walk. The points cash out to YGG tokens so every clean exit actually means something.
The game won't force you out. It'll keep offering you one more level right up until you make the wrong call.
That part is entirely on you.
