Physical AI is basically AI that has to deal with the real world
A robot can understand a command but that doesnโt mean it can execute it perfectly.
It still has to see the object, move toward it, touch it, adjust when things go wrong and recover
Thatโs the part people miss when they compare robotics to LLMs.
An LLM can plan what should happen
A robot has to physically make it happen
Friction, bad positioning, occlusion, backlash and all the little things that donโt exist in a perfect simulation can break a good plan
This is why interaction data matters so much in robotics.
Teleoperation shows the robot what good movement looks like.
Corrections teach it what to do when it gets things wrong
Simulation gives it more environments and scenarios to learn from
But real hardware is still the final test
Physical AI isnโt simply about building a bigger model.
Itโs about teaching AI to learn through interaction with the physical world.
