To clarify, we were distinguishing between hypertensive emergency (immediate inpatient Tx) and asymptomatic urgency (no proven benefit from rapid BP reduction). Thrust being immediate treatment eg CCB and next day O/P follow up may be appropriate. Have clarified on site.
