Saw it last Wednesday. Didn’t expect a fully packed 11 pm show on a weekday. Chants of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman all around...simple story, but pure goosebumps. Just like Narasimha last year, such movies really turn cinema halls into temples.

Watched Hanuman Ansh last night. After the first 30 mins itself, I realized this movie is for the devotees. An entire joint family had to come to watch. Occupying nearly two entire rows.

The movie does an amazing job at fan service, Baba performs all the miracles in a linear fashion. There is not much of a plot, or twist or a turn. But somehow it’s pretty feel good. Credit goes to an amazing background track. I noticed the movie steers clear of claiming baba cured physical ailments without advising to visit a doctor.

The movie does have an unexplainable likeability to it. I am not a card carrying devotee, pretty cynical while watching movies, even I derived comfort in its simplicity.

Came to know about this heartbreaking story from my city, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

A 19 year old boy had an argument with his parents over an iPhone and went to a hill.

His father followed him. Both fell, and his mother also jumped after seeing them.

All three lost their lives.

Three lives gone. One family destroyed. All over something that could have been resolved.

We need to teach our children that not getting what they want is not the end of the world.

The most surprising outcome of the Bihar election is the complete wipeout of Jan Suraaj.

Prashant Kishor spent years on the ground and raised the right issues, yet his party couldn’t secure even a single seat. He must be disappointed, but at least he isn’t blaming the EVMs or inventing election-fraud theories. That level of maturity is still missing in two well-known “nepokids”, who can’t seem to process a clear, overwhelming defeat without slipping into denial.
