One time my dad was beginning to form the habit of just complaining about everything at home . You simply could not please the man.

My siblings then formed the habit of disappearing to their rooms When he comes home .

He noticed and asked me why we were no longer spending time with him and I told him why and also “advised” him to check it, else the moment these children leave this house for uni, they’re not coming back.

You people will not believe that my daddy called his siblings and started telling them that Ezinne and her siblings plan to abandon him in his old age .

Everybody started asking me to apologize 😭😭😭.

He changed but I have not advised him since then 😭

My cousin’s wife packages and sells kulikuli, she started recently, so sales never dey really move like that.

The lovely husband who plays football every two weeks around Surulere comes to the pitch with a full bag of kulikuli and sells to boys at the field, and he usually goes back home with an empty bag after football.

This is a simple act of service that money cannot buy.

Went to the restroom of a mega store & the toilet staff was just hissing loudly saying “wetin be this”. I asked what the problem was, she said a husband gave her diaper to give his wife in the toilet. I heard the husband but I wanted to confirm from her. I asked what the problem was with that?

She said “how adult go Dey use diaper? Na rubbish”, she said it so loud the woman must have heard. I told her she had no business being rude about it & gave all the instances where grownups could need diapers and of course schooled her on empathy because why was she being nasty?
