Great question. As a scientist, I was drawn to the God of the Bible through my work. But why specifically the biblical God instead of some non-specific God?

When I first dropped my atheism and began to believe in God, it was actually not initially the God of the Bible, but just a general transcendent, omniscient, omnipotent God. I saw how orderly and knowable the universe was, and I also had extreme misgivings about a naturalistic basis for morality, and so it all came together in the realization that a supreme power and intelligence that exists beyond the universe was the reason for it all.

By chance I came across a book by an Orthodox Jewish theologian and physicist named Gerald Schroeder who explained that science is compatible with the Bible. Intrigued, I read it and was stunned. That kicked off a years-long study of the Bible and the works of the sages, and I realized that all of the science I had devoted my life to studying was not only compatible with the biblical God, but compatible only with the biblical God.

To understand why, you need to first consider two broad categories of deities: gods and Gods. Think Thor vs. Yahweh. The problem is the small 'g' pagan gods come from traditions that assume the universe is eternal. That's not compatible with a universe that came into existence a finite time ago, as all evidence indicates for our universe. These gods are not creators, but reshapers who manipulate the world. That eliminated all gods from consideration.

As for big 'G' Gods, the only ones I could reasonably consider were Gods who are capable of bringing a finite-age universe into existence. As far as I’m aware, that shortens the list to Yahweh (Judaism and Christianity), Allah (Islam), Waheguru (Sikhism), and Ahura Mazda (Zoroastrianism). If we consider the two versions of God that are by far the most popular—Yahweh and Allah—we see some similarities. But—scientifically speaking—there are also significant differences. The main difference is that Allah is described as directing everything that occurs in the universe moment-by-moment. A universe created by Allah would therefore not operate by natural laws, but by will. But we observe a universe that operates according to natural laws.

From thousands of years of study, we know that the universe is

- observable
- rational
- intelligible
- predictable
- mathematical
- finite in age

The only God that is compatible with all this is the God of the Bible.

There are two additional supporting points.

The first is, a careful translation and interpretation of Genesis 1 is astonishingly accurate in terms of what we know from the natural record of the creation and development of the universe and life on Earth. If you're curious about this, there's a link in my pinned tweet.

The second is, that modern science is a direct product of Christianity. Even if it can be shown that modern science is flawed or that it biases our understanding of the universe in terms of seeing only what the methods of modern science can reveal to us, all that does is reinforce the point that modern science (a product of the ideals and assumptions of Christianity) points to the God of the Bible.

Come-on, you are ignorant of the flat that you are being used by the devil.

As for me, God is Unlimited,
There is nothing, absolutely nothing He can not do!
He can do ALL THINGS!
He brought waters out if the rock.
He walked upon the sea.
He brought out coin from fish mouth.
He turned water to wine and multiplied bread in the hands of disciples.
The entire Bible is full of mind blowing Miracles!

But if the Devil has given you a gift and you come to the Lord’s Altar to give God the glory,
You are Playing Pranks with God!
He would not take the dirty glory of the Devil.
He is King of Glory.

If you are playing Pranks with God,
I am so sorry for your derailing Soul.
The Devil that employed you to do this has a damning agenda for your Soul.
The Judgement of God is hanging upon all the Pranksters who are making Mockery of God and the Body of Christ.
It is a Terrible Judgement!
They have misled multitudes of weak Christians.
They have discouraged lots of new Converts.
They have hardened the hearts of many unbelievers.
For the purpose of Monetization.
If you Play Pranks with God, you are risking your Soul and Playing with God’s Judgement.

Some times ago, my wife and I with Dammy were on flight from Lagos to Texas. He was sitting on the extreme right side of the row while we sat at the left side row. He was fortunate to be the only one on side of his seat. And for the 12 hours of flights, he was busy typing his script and praying.
At some point, he would type for a while and start praying with the blanket covering his head. Then, one of the times, while many were asleep, he was praying and his voice was getting a bit loud and I almost left my seat to go over to him in the third row, to tell himto lower his voice because some people were sleeping. But as I was thinking of this, he stopped, removed the blanket covering him and started typing again.
Therefore, I am not surprise at the type of spiritual energy and inspiration that came forth from ABATTOIR that ended yesterday.
More Grace and Anointing, Servant of God!
More impact on your Generation.
May you live to fulfill purpose of God only. May the devil be frustrated over your life.
