Australia just had its worst quarter of jobs growth in almost 13 years, outside Covid.

In September alone, 39,300 fewer Australians were in work. Economists expected 20,000 new jobs. Unemployment hit 4.7%, a five-year high. 732,000 Australians are now out of work, and youth unemployment is 11.1%.

The same day, Treasurer Jim Chalmers said: "Australia's labour market remains resilient and one of our greatest strengths."

The Reserve Bank didn't forecast 4.7% unemployment until the end of 2027. We hit it in September 2026.

Now business leaders are warning Chalmers that higher taxes would be "self-sabotage".

Fewer jobs. Higher taxes. Labor's "greatest strength" is cracking.

Now, with Haines conveniently in critical condition after a horrific targeted attack outside her Wangaratta office (she lost both legs), Albanese still refuses to say sorry.

Instead he spins the dirt file as somehow “highlighting her integrity” and calls her a “good local member.”

Classic Albanese: deflect, gaslight, blame everyone else, never own it.

Jane Hume was spot on, his “tenuous relationship with the truth is a clear pattern.”

Dan Tehan, Pauline Hanson and others across the parliament are calling for basic accountability.

He won’t give it.

This is the same man who dodges, denies and spin cycles every scandal.

No ownership. No leadership. Just endless excuses.

Australia deserves better than a spineless Prime Minister who treats integrity as optional and accountability as someone else’s problem.
