What I believe He impressed upon my heart left me speechless.

Think about it. The sun gives light, sustains life and is a consuming fire. Yet, for all its power and glory, it is merely a creation. Not even the Creator Himself.

I wept.

Because how do you begin to comprehend the holiness and majesty of a God whose creation alone is too powerful for you to approach?

Yet this same God chose to come as man. To dwell among us. To relate with me. To love me. And then, as though that wasn’t enough, call me His own?!

Do you understand the weight of that?

The One who sustains all creation chose to have a relationship with me.

This is why I stand in awe of Him. This is where my confidence comes from. Not in who I am, but in WHOSE I AM. ✝️
