*PANKARTIN HİKAYESİ*

Öncelikle bir kez daha taraftarlık kültürünün ne kadar kıymetli olduğunu hatırladığımız bir gece yaşadık.

Kura çekildiği andan itibaren neler yapabileceğimizi konuşurken Liverpool Türkiye ekibi olarak sadece bir taraftar grubu olmadığımızı; bu toprakların bir parçası olduğumuzu ve Liverpool FC taraftarı olmanın değerlerini en doğru şekilde yansıtmamız gerektiğini düşündük.

Dünya zor zamanlardan geçiyor. Savaşların, ayrışmaların ve umutsuzluğun arttığı bir dönemde yaşıyoruz. Ancak futbolun ve özellikle Liverpool FC’nin milyonlarca insanı aynı duygu etrafında bir araya getirme gücüne sahip olduğunu biliyoruz.

Bu nedenle pankartımızda, Cumhuriyetimizin kurucusu Ulu Önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün evrensel bir mesaj taşıyan şu sözünü paylaşmaya karar verdik:

“Yurtta sulh, cihanda sulh.”

Bu söz; yalnızca bir ülkenin değil, tüm insanlığın barışa olan ihtiyacını anlatan güçlü bir çağrıdır. Amacımız hem bulunduğumuz toprakların değerlerini hem de Liverpool taraftarlığının barış, birlik ve dayanışma ruhunu aynı pankartta buluşturmaktı.

Bu süreçte Liverpool'dan gelecek olan arkadaşlarımızla ve kulüp yetkilileriyle de iletişim hâlinde olduk. Pankart fikrimizi paylaştık ve onların da desteğiyle, birlikte hareket ederek bu anlamlı mesajı tribüne taşıdık.

Bizlere Ulu Önderimiz Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün barış mesajını tüm dünyaya paylaşma fırsatı veren kulübümüz Liverpool FC'ye, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü'ne ve emeği geçen herkese teşekkür ederiz.
