Layoffs at the big companies are 100% due to AI. It's just that AI isn't really automating all the jobs and reducing the need for humans. AI native startups are moving at a pace that's scaring incumbents, which is pushing enterprises to be cautious with headcount. The outlier AI startups become juggernauts and it feels like overnight relative to 5 years ago.

Welcome back to Weekly Telemetry Feature!
In this week's episode (ok not quite this week — about a month ago, but bear with me 😉), I'm covering the acquisition of Quickwit by Datadog.
🛡️ It’s been years in the making, and it’s finally here 🛡️
I’m incredibly excited to announce our newest GA – Edge Delta’s Security Data Pipelines
(Learn more 👉 https://t.co/Nn8hBztU8X)
The best part – our pipelines enable full control and visibility of your security data at enterprise scale.
Even if you're working with PBs of data per day, our security data pipelines will help keep you ahead of threat actors before they can cause harm 🛡️❌
Make sure to follow me @Ozannlu to get notified of Edge Delta releases like this.
And as always, reach out to me with any questions/comments – I love talking all things observability, security, and pipelines 😄
When it comes to security, every second counts.
That’s exactly why we built Edge Delta – to enable lightning fast insights at enterprise scale better than anyone else on the market. With our Security Data Pipelines, we’re doing exactly that.
Some security teams tell us their security analytics are 24 hours delayed (!!!) due to working with incredibly high data volumes 🤯
When I was directly dealing with IOAs, IOCs, and Zero Days myself, I (thankfully) never had to deal with that. But we weren’t dealing with terabytes and petabytes of data like organizations are today.
I *highly* recommend checking the original video out. I'm a big fan of Werner Vogels and think this video is incredibly insightful about key trends in the tech space.
