Seth Rogen says Sylvester Stallone has only made four good movies.
"What's the over/under on actual good Stallone movies? I think it's like four." - Ike
"Demolition Man. Tango and Cash is enjoyable, but it's not a good movie." - Seth
"Stallone is maybe not as good as Schwarzenegger. Not even close. Predator alone is better than anything Stallone has made." - Ike
"Stallone has no Terminator 2, no True Lies. Schwarzenegger is in legitimately great movies." - Seth
"Stallone made a run from 1997 to 2012 that was rough. Do you remember Driven? Daylight? He's trapped in the Holland Tunnel. His character's name is Kit Latura." - Ike
#Supergirl is a “super-horrendous” comic book movie “with the worst script I can remember,” reads Variety’s review from @OwenGleiberman.
James Gunn said he wasn’t going into production on any movie until the script was rock-solid. For that was the overriding problem with the superhero overkill era: the films had lousy scripts, which served as grids for layering visual effects.
Gunn was right to want to take the comic-book genre back to the basics of well-structured screenwriting. So what has he done in his second DC outing? He’s given us a comic-book movie with the worst script I can remember.

Producer Lars P. Winther confirms David Ellison has sat down with James Gunn and Peter Safran, and "he's pretty open to what we're doing."
"He's a big fan, he's been great with us. He's giving us kind of what we want. So far, everything's good."

When #Supergirl takes to the screen this Friday, she’ll be the biggest Warner Bros/DC Studios movie ever when it comes to promotional partnerships with 80+ sponsors who are delivering $100 million-plus in media value. That’s not even counting consumer products.
With names such as Ulta Beauty, OPI, Joico, and Kentucky Fried Chicken onboard, Warner Bros Global Partnerships’ aim for the campaign is to sell the edgy aspect of the DC-verse, while creating zeitgeist moments that would intrigue young women and families

Rumor: Sony May Sell Spider-Man Rights After Beyond the Spider-Verse
According to a source, Sony and Marvel are currently in quiet discussions regarding the future of their Spider-Man partnership.
While a renewal of the deal is expected after the current films, there are also reports suggesting that Sony is considering a potential sale of the Spider-Man IP rights once Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse wraps up.
The thinking behind this is that Sony believes it has already maximized the value of the character and could secure a significant financial deal while still retaining some producer or distribution rights.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, and a lot will likely depend on how Brand New Day performs at the box office.
Bobby Prince, the legendary composer behind games such as DOOM, DOOM II, Wolfenstein 3D and Duke Nukem 3D, has sadly passed away.
May he rest in peace ❤️
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.

Xbox's strategy has been remarkably consistent and correct since late May, which is how long it has taken for the new CEO to get her bearings and get the right advice.
This strategy shows a clear understanding of how Xbox needs to move going forward and can be defined as three simple points:
1. Resolve the problems with hardware (this is opaque to us now and will take time)
2. Ensure the ecosystem is sticky (Hence exclusives)
3. Cut losses, improve unit economics in Game Pass and invest into titles customers want
The question Xbox needs to ask is "What is the best ROI to grow the install base of Xbox as a platform?"
Given the 3% number it is fairly clear it was going horribly for a long time prior. Staying the course was not an option given Microsoft's tech margin is much higher, meaning a dollar put into Xbox versus AI was a bad investment, and Satya was not going to let that slide for longer.
