To the families of our SWDs: we are here for you. I know students who receive intensive in-person services haven't had them for 11 weeks. We must & we will serve their needs as soon as possible + ensure health & safety at the same time. I look forward to working together.

That’s why we'll work closely with @NYCHealthy to discuss potential provision of in-person services, taking into consideration PPE, transportation, and more. We're carefully thinking this through in an evolving health landscape.

All of us @NYCSchools are still laser-focused on health & safety—especially for our students with disabilities. We are 100% committed to serving the individual needs of SWDs. We must make sure we can do so safely.
