The movie were the director was pressured into putting venom in the movie is all good and deserves an apology, but the movie where the director explicitly asked for jean grey to be in because it flows well with Peter's arc, is "set up".

The Raimi Trilogy is heavily under-criticized and I think it deserves some criticism when putting away the nostalgia. I don't think the trilogy is awful by any means, but it is certainly not the perfect superhero trilogy people make it out to be.
