We have been learning about famous landmarks in Brazil. Today we created a diorama of Christ the Redeemer & look forward to sharing the finish product at our Share the Learning next Wednesday 🇧🇷👍

We have also been learning about Japan & traditional Japanese food. We created our ideal Japanese menu then developed our skills in Microsoft Word by typing our menus, learning how to change font & size of text & created a border. 💻🌟🇯🇵🍱

It’s been a busy first few weeks back after our Easter break.
We have been developing our note taking skills & using these to create posters on pic collage. We are also learning about Brazil & used our mapping skills to identified the 10 countries which border Brazil. 👏😀⭐️

We have been learning about weight & capacity this week. Kilograms, grams, litres & millilitres. We then used our knowledge to follow a recipe for Easter cakes…they were yummy!! 🧁😋

The country we are learning about is Spain. This week we tried some flamenco dancing & created our own flamenco dancers.🇪🇸💃

We were looking at the features of a newspaper report. We worked together to identify headlines, captions, paragraphs, speech marks, time words & chronological order. We are looking forward to applying our knowledge to create our own report about Fantastic Mr Fox 👏📰🗞️

We started to look at division today. We used sharing & grouping using concrete materials, drew pictorial representations & used our multiplication knowledge to complete step calculations. Well done P4/3M➗👏

Today we were learning about onomatopoeia. We worked together to create our own comic strips, adding a variety of sound words to make it interesting for our readers. 👏👏

This week we looked at the green cog for Emotion works. We worked with a partner to mime different behaviours that may be displayed for certain emotions. We created posters to demonstrate this.
