It's #InternationalWomensDay and throughout the day we'll be celebrating with messages from some of the amazing women leaders in the #GCPCommunity. Let's kick off the day with a message from a young woman of the future, a Board member's daughter, 9 yr old Piper #IWD21#GCPWomen
@NicolaSturgeon Hi there, I wanted to share with you a poem my wee boy (Austin- 9 years old) wrote about Covid for school last week @P5BBurnbrae @BurnbraePS
Successful and busy first day with chromebooks! Learning about key IT skills and lots of different ways to support our learning. The class were so responsible and patient. Canโt wait for next week!
Fun with magnets today - learners were challenged to design a board game which uses magnets to move a part! Some creative ideas and great team work ๐ ๐งฒ
P5B took part in the Active Schools Cross Country event today! Lovely to see learners encouraging each other and persevering. No one gave up! What a great personal achievement for you all - we completed a total of 569 laps of 100m in 12 minutes! @active_lasswade
Well done P5B for a fab assembly presentation about Remembrance Day and sharing your letters from a WW1 soldier. The video is too large to upload to Twitter but here are some snapshots instead. Enjoy your weekend everyone!
@Jo12Mac@GCP_Edinburgh Thank you for sharing this! So proud of you Piper, you spoke brilliantly and so confidently. What a natural! ๐ And well done Cosmo, you were fantastic too! You must be very proud of them both, Jo โบ๏ธ!
We have had a busy #MathsWeekScot learning about directions, time and equations. Proud of you all! ๐ Here are Brooke and Ewan drawing a perfect circle with a compass they made - well done!
