“...If nuclear weapons are ever used it will not just be us who bear the consequences, rather our children and future generations will have to suffer for our sins. Generations of children will be born with intellectual and physical disabilities and have their hopes and dreams shattered through no fault of their own. Is that the parting legacy we wish to bequeath to those who follow us? Surely not! …Let us all, irrespective of our differences, join together and work with a spirit of mutual respect, tolerance and affection for the peace of the world and to promote freedom of belief.” - His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Fifth Khalifa (Caliph) and Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Truthfulness in Every Deal
“Hazrat Ibn Umar (ra) narrates that the Holy Prophet (sa) said: ‘When a person tells a lie, an angel moves a mile away from him because of the foul smell of what he has intentionally committed.’
In another narration, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (ra) relates that the Holy Prophet (sa) once passed by a heap of grain. He placed his hand into it and felt moisture, so he said, ‘O seller of grain, what is the matter, is it wet inside?’ The man replied, ‘O Messenger of Allah (sa), rain had fallen on it.’ The Holy Prophet (sa) said, ‘Then why did you not place the wet grain on top?’ He then said, ‘Whoever deceives is not from me.’
Thus, those in business should examine themselves over even such minute matters. This is the standard he wished to establish in a Muslim, yet today many are defamed due to deceitful practices.”

Examining Our Truthfulness
“Therefore, today it is the duty of every Ahmadi to examine themselves and reflect on their own standards of truthfulness, and to strive to remove any weaknesses in them. May Allah the Almighty grant us the ability to do so.”

High Moral Excellence
“The Promised Messiah (as) further states:
‘Allah the Exalted addresses our Holy Prophet (sa) and says:
“And thou dost surely possess high moral excellences.”
This means that all kinds of noble qualities – generosity, courage, justice, mercy, kindness, truthfulness, and fortitude – are gathered within you. In short, all the faculties that are found within the human heart – such as courtesy, modesty, honesty, nobility, honour, steadfastness, chastity, abstinence, moderation, sympathy for others – as well as courage, generosity, forgiveness, patience, benevolence, truthfulness, loyalty, and so on – when these natural qualities are expressed in their proper place and occasion with the guidance of wisdom and reflection, they are collectively called akhlaq (moral excellence).’”
