The climate crisis is accelerating, and the United States is at the helm. The U.S remains the largest user and emitter of fossil fuels in the world, and the Department of Defense alone is one of the largest institutional polluters globally.
Dear Comrades:
You are aware of the danger of direct military aggression by the United States against Cuba, a peaceful and supportive nation. This threat complements the intensification of the blockade with a total cutoff of fuel supplies aimed at suffocating the Island of Liberty. Now more than ever, Cuba needs the support of all its friends and people of good will around the world. Starting today, the Embassy is joining the global call for peace, sovereignty, and solidarity with the people of Cuba. Those who wish to do so may stop by the Embassy at 5 Phillips, Belgravia, to sign the global appeal for Cuba.

African people in Mali are coming out of their retirement to defend Africa. They know what it at stake.
We can't allow anyone to take Africa away from us ever again. We will certainly not be going back to the 6th Century. There will be no scramble for Africa, no Berlin conference, and certainly no terrorist ASWAD state.
@ajamubaraka Yes! And taking the lessons from our Radical Black Tradition, @PACAdmv is attempting to pick up where our predecessors left off. La luta continuá✊🏿 This was today in SE DC.
As utility costs continue to rise across the District, a familiar pattern is emerging: Black working-class communities in Ward 7 and 8 are forced to shoulder the heaviest burden while corporations expand their energy use unchecked.
This ASSG will examine how utilities are managed under capitalism, breaking down the myth of neutral “budgeting” and exposing how resources are privatized and distributed to serve profit, not human need.
DC is moving to extend the juvenile curfew, calling it “public safety."But it really means more policing and surveillance of Black working-class youth, especially in Wards 7 & 8.
To build real community safety, we need to organize with our youth and foster community-led participatory democracy. Our communities should have direct decision-making power over the resources and institutions that impact their lives.
