PACT are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. HM served our country and commonwealth with distinction, devotion and loyalty. PACT send our condolences to the Royal Family and we join the country and world in mourning.
So far we have used it to identify and treat tendon injuries through to investigating for cardiac abnormalities.
Butterfly technology also allows us to securely save images and send onwards to the patient or specialities as part of a referral.
PACT are always looking at ways to improve patient care which is why we utilise the amazing Butterfly IQ+ Ultrasound. This peice of equipment allows our clinicians to conduct Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) imaging anywhere and at any time.

Patients like this are seen from time to time, so to ensure the best outcome for the most seriously ill or injured, PACT simulate patients and provide CPD as often as demand allows without impacting on patient care.

Sunday saw our team simulate a case involving a traumatic brain injury. Our friends from @ArleyMedical provided the initial response, supported by the PACT Critical Care Team. The patient was anaesthetised by the team in the Field Hospital, stabilised and packaged for transfer.
